What is Channeling?

Since early 1997, Judi has been able to receive clearly transmitted dictations from an inner, higher realm. A highly unusual astrological pattern was in effect at the time, representing (Judi feels) a doorway opening between the conscious and superconscious levels of mind.

The best description that Judi has come across, of what she does as a channeler:

"Channeling was once the preserve of 19th century mediums who claimed to be able to communicate with the spirits of the dead, often via a control spirit. Although mediums are still with us, they have since been joined by a wide variety of other people who claim to be able to channel disembodied entities including many modern UFO cults (...) Channeling differs from the previously discussed examples because the mediums have a degree of control over the phenomenon they exhibit and also because the personalities themselves often do not 'possess' the whole body but instead relay messages to the medium who then relays them to the sitters." - First Person Plural," by Paul Chambers (Fortean Times, Jan. 2000)

The dictionary defines a channel as a path or passage through which something moves or passes, often communication. And as a verb, to channel is to direct or convey something through a pathway.

Thus, in a metaphysical sense, a channeler is someone through whom information is conveyed - as one whose very consciousness is the passageway for such information to be directed.

The quality of this technique depends on the clarity of reception; the value, upon the importance of the information being conveyed. If the channeler can receive and transmit information from higher sources as clear as a bell, and if the information is meaningful and beneficial to another's soul growth and joy, this technique will be profoundly helpful to the seeker.
